The Social Switch Project is switching the narrative on how young people’s online behaviour is understood, approached, and managed.

Recognising our impact, the Mayor of London’s Violence Reduction Unit and leading charities Catch22 and RedThread are supporting our next phase: empowering young people in London with the digital skills needed for success in today’s digital workforce and educating those closest to young people (professionals and parents/trusted adults) on how to support them through their time online.

What we’ve achieved

  • We were highly commended for the Workforce Development Award at the Children and Young People Now Awards.

  • We have trained 109 young people as social media managers and provided intensive career support post-programme.

  • We have trained over 1500 professionals working with young people to deal with the challenges of online behaviour.
